Very fond memories! I love that you are now in possession of not one but TWO fondue pots. Bob should pair tequila with cheese for a fondue party sometime- sounds like good times at your house!Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17007563758020973683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-41155779113506996.post-38893404173446205192012-05-19T15:16:46.073-07:002012-05-19T15:16:46.073-07:00Great meeting you today. This is wonderful! I remember about 30 years ago introducing my family to hot oil fonduing, they kicking and screaming because it was new and different and foreign, and...'oh? mmmm. This is good!' going on around the formica kitchen set. They really should be much more adventurous! They're missing out on so much!Notes from Maggie's Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07988466982319140284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-41155779113506996.post-88104628091516228602012-05-14T10:37:40.137-07:002012-05-14T10:37:40.137-07:00Yes Steph call your Aunt see if she would let you ...Yes Steph call your Aunt see if she would let you borrow it.
If you have any recipes for those dipping sauces,
I would love to get a copy of them as I have not done much in the way of meat/broth/oil. I think my family is parcel to cheese and chocolate. I love that it was your stepping stone at an early age.girlgonegritshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03711770221288564326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-41155779113506996.post-35981578854620213582012-05-14T10:28:47.023-07:002012-05-14T10:28:47.023-07:00Wonderful post! We made all kinds of wonderful dipping sauces to dip the meat in. I'm pretty sure this is how I became interested in cooking at an early age. I wonder if she still has her fondue pot? Might have to borrow it from her:)Steph@RamblingWrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08747425786972900993noreply@blogger.com
